West Bay is a Harbour Town on the Jurrasic Coast in Dorset. West Bay, also known as Bridport Harbour, is a small harbour settlement and resort on the English Channel coast in Dorset, England, sited at the mouth of the River Brit approximately 1.5 miles south of Bridport. The area is part of the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site. An ideal base to discover the surrounding area if you wish, although West Bay is full of things to pass the days away from independent shops & Cafes, Traditional food huts, Swimming Pool, Children's play parks. As well as a good variety of pubs of which sell Palmer's Beer, which of course is brewed just up the road in Bridport. Two piers, of which are ideal to catch the perfect sunset shot! Recently West Bay was home to the hit TV Series Broadchurch and of course take it back a few years... Harbour Lights.
